These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PA Sharks website, player registration portal, member accounts, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by PA Sharks Basketball (“PA Sharks,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the PA Sharks website or registering for our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

1. About PA Sharks Basketball

PA Sharks Basketball is a non-profit youth sports organization dedicated to empowering youth athletes through teamwork, discipline, and skill development. The Platform provides tools for users to:

  • Create and manage family and player accounts.
  • Register athletes for youth basketball teams, camps, clinics, and events.
  • Process program fees and contributions securely.
  • Access schedule updates, announcements, and team communications.

2. User Accounts and Registration

To register athletes or access specific features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Maintain and promptly update your account details.
  • Maintain the security of your username and password.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Accounts for youth athletes must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.

3. Program Registrations, Payments, and Fees

All registration fees, club dues, and contributions must be paid through our authorized payment processing systems (such as Square for WooCommerce).

  • PA Sharks does not store complete payment card numbers or banking information on our local servers.
  • Registrations are not finalized until payment is successfully processed and confirmed.
  • Refund and contribution policies are governed by our specific Refund & Contributions Policy posted on the website.

4. User Code of Conduct

Users, parents, spectators, and athletes participating in PA Sharks programs agree to uphold sportsmanship, respect, and safety. You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Violate any local, state, or federal laws.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse coaches, staff, players, or other families.
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or attempt to compromise website security.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PA Sharks Basketball, its coaches, board members, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from participation in youth sports activities, use of the website, or technical service interruptions. Youth sports involve inherent physical risks, and participation implies acknowledgment of those risks.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on the PA Sharks website—including logos, text, graphics, schedules, and images—is the property of PA Sharks Basketball or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized duplication or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

7. Changes to These Terms

PA Sharks Basketball reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to the website. Continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
